Scott Whitlock moved to Napa, CA at the age of three and has always felt at home in Wine Country, pursuing a career in the wine industry before becoming a Loan Officer. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Scott moved back to Napa to purchase a home and raise his five children (four boys and one girl). As a proud father, he understands the importance of taking care of family and finding the right loan for each customer, priding himself on integrity of choosing the client’s interests over his own.
A disabled veteran, Scott has made specializing in VA loans and working with the military community a priority, though with over 17 years of lending experience, he stays current on a wide variety of programs, including FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Jumbo loans. With his extensive experience, Scott understands the importance of having the right program for the customer purchasing a home. While there are a number of other lenders available, there are none who work as hard as Scott and his team.
“A big reason I decided to go into the loan industry was based on my first home buying experience. I was young and had no idea how complicated it was to purchase a home, and we had to rely and trust upon the expertise of those who had been in the industry.
